This account may be right for you if you are resident in Northern Ireland, over the age of 18, and are saving for your first home. This account isn’t available to you if you have ever had a mortgage.

£500 Mortgage Cashback Eligibility Requirements
- This cashback offer is exclusively for Progressive Building Society First Home Saver account holders who are borrowing with Progressive for their first home in Northern Ireland.
- To qualify for this Mortgage Cashback, you must:
- be a first-time buyer;
- have a balance of £2,000 in your First Home Saver account at the time you apply for the mortgage;
- apply for your mortgage directly with a Progressive Mortgage Advisor either in branch or by telephone. This means the cashback is not available for mortgage applications introduced by a mortgage intermediary.
- The cashback will be paid within one month of completion of the mortgage and cannot therefore be used towards the deposit on your home.
- The £500 cashback offer applies to each individual, so if you are purchasing your first home with someone else who also has their own First Home Saver account, you will each receive a £500 Mortgage Cashback.
- Progressive First Home Saver terms and conditions apply.
- Your mortgage application will be subject to the Society’s lending criteria, terms and conditions. Opening a First Home Saver does not guarantee your acceptance for a mortgage.
