What is a product switch?

A product switch is a switch from one type of mortgage product to another with the Society. For example, from the Society’s Standard Variable Rate (SVR) to a fixed rate.

  • Switching to a new deal could reduce your monthly payments.

  • It could also keep your monthly repayments to same for a set period of time with a fixed rate deal.

If eligible, you can switch to a new product up to 12 weeks before your existing mortgage deal ends; or anytime if you’re on our SVR.

Why stay with Progressive?

  • No fees - there are no redemption, valuation, or legal fees for switching.

  • It’s straightforward - no credit check, eligibility check, solicitor, or property valuation required.

Ways to switch your product

  • Online - apply online without advice.

  • Book an appointment and speak to your mortgage advisor - apply with advice.
