Financial Services Authority ( FSA )
An independent body that regulates the financial services industry.From 31st October 2004, the FSA has assumed responsibility for mortgages and all lenders and mortgage intermediaries must be either directly authorised by the FSA or must be an appointed representative of an authorised firm.
